High Road Brasserie Chiswick sits snugly and smugly in the loop of the River Thames between Hammersmith and Kew. Whilst not known for its trendy bars or club-life, it is known for its restaurants. Why? Because of the sheer number and variety on offer especially on the High Road near Turnham Green tube station. All this competition raises the quality standards and keeps prices bearable.

The eateries that keep us coming back for more are the award winning Sam’s Brasserie and La Trompette, plus the Gourmet Burger Kitchen and revamped Pacific Bar and Grill.

Recent additions to Chiswick include the homemade burger restaurant Ground, Italian chain Carluccio's Caffé and the High Road Brasserie which is open to the public but part of the High Road House Hotel and private members club. Plus, there is a Chez Gerard Brasserie due to open soon on the site of Caffé Uno and Black And Blue Steakhouse in place of the much missed Texas Lone Star.
