Dr Marten bootsCamden's main claim to fame is its huge market, or in fact its many markets located at the lock, the stables, the canal, Buck Street and Inverness Street. Originally a Sunday affair, is now almost as big on a Saturday. And yes, it is very busy, but certainly worth the slight inconvenience of the tourist and local hordes. Click here for a MAP.

Bridge at Camden LockYou might be looking around the stalls a very long time, if you are after bargain CDs, clothes, crafts, pictures, furniture or antiques. Of course, the reason we like Camden so much is the food and drink, you won't have to look very far for your next food-stop.

Camden EatsOne of our long-standing favourite Camden bar and restaurants is the Arizona complete with rooftop terrace. Or, for something a little more elegant, what about the brand new Pizza Punani restaurant? Finally, if you are after food of the liquid kind, then look no further than the Dublin Castle pub that has a famous back room where local bands play.
