Chelsea BridgeChelsea is part of the Kensington and Chelsea Borough and has as its Conservative MP, the Rt Hon Michael Portillo. The borough is the wealthiest in Britain and the current average cost of a terraced house is 1.3 million pounds. But, luckily you don't have to be able to afford to live there if you want to eat there.

Couple Dining In Chelsea Central to Chelsea is the King's Road which as well as being a shopper's and poseur's paradise, also boasts some of our favourite eateries. There are the upmarket curry houses Chutney Mary's and Vama, the newly opened Italian Bar Proseccheria Mionetto.

Close by on Fulham Road is the popular Mexican cantina Cactus Blue and continental restaurant Randall And Aubin. Overlooking the Thames is the Thai restaurant Thai On The River, but better value is the Busabong Tree. And finally, it's perhaps no surprise that Gordon Ramsay's flagship restaurant is located in Chelsea too.
