Not been here for ages and when i walked through the pleasantly shabby doors I was instantly taken back to the halcyon days when Vic Naylor was the jewel in the crown in clerkenwell. Glad to see the old tart back on top form serving quality food with ist class service and an atmosphere second to none. Good for you guys! 4932

Long before the nearby Starbucks was a twinkle in the eye of that faceless corporation, Vic's was a haven of COOL in a land of trotters and trucks. Ask barman Gary who's tended bar since 1989! Eat, drink and be original. But don't tell too many people! 3871

mr . newton Thursday, August 08, 2002	Rating: 9 9 10 = 9/10 i went to vic naylor a year ago and was very disapointed with the food and the rude manager!!!! however i decided to pay another visit recently and was very impressed with the improved brunch menu and newly re-furbished bar. I highly recomend checking out vic naylor.i'm not sure whether it has new management but it certainly has improved 100% the service was relaxed friendly but very attentive. 533
