Rating: Me and my wife have been eating in DIONYSUS since eary seventies,it has always been a treat for us twice a week.Since the restaurant moved next to Tottenham Court Road station as we have moved to Essex now we still went once a week to have good food and good service. Yesterday we were shocked to find that it is closed now because of Cross Rail,as we never checked it before we were very shocked and upset. Please keep us informed where your new place is going to be so we can have our treat of good food and service again, Good luck, Ibrahim. 6871

Rating: Text Lovethey are at 3&5 Oxford Street next to Tottenham Court Road opposite the Dominion Theatre and Centre Point. An Institution. Superb Fish and Chips (real Chips not frozen stick) And truely the BEST DONER they were the first and are still the best. Go at 10.00am and see the freshly made Doner going up onto the spit. I have been eating here since the early seventies I moved to the far east in the nineties but whenever I visit the UK i go to Dionysus to eat. The food is still fantastic and the same family still own it. I agree the best anywhere in the world. Long may DIONYSUS reign. 5780

Rating: In the 80s I would fly to London from Boston and eat at The Dionysus 3 times a day. Great service, day or night. You walk in the door and hear.."Carlsbads for my friends from America!"Gyros better than Chicago Kronos and 3 kinds of fish and chips. 4302

Rating: Best Doner anywhere in the world. We have eaten there since 1990, and was devastated when it burned two and a half years ago, now it has opened again in November. The best X-mas present a person can get. GO THERE !!!!3902
