LondonEats.com Review:

A 2001 Moet And Chandon Restaurant Award Nominee. We ordered a free-range pork rib platter which consisted of one big rib (in home-made bar-b-que sauce), baked beans, fried potatoes, slaw and red cabbage (£7). All meat is freshly bar-b-qued outside (by Bubba) and our rib was succulent, tasty and filling. A variety of burgers and steaks are also available for eat-in or take-away. Expect to pay around £10 for a meal and a bottle of house wine costs £8.75.

Our party was the first to arrive on a Friday lunch time. Note NO burgers, hot dogs or chops are served on Fridays[!?]. As a result two had the pork rib platter, two the beef rib platter.
Both were disappointing, given the generally upbeat reviews of the business. The helpings were good but the meat was stringy and not tender. The beef did not taste of beef and the pork did not taste of pork. The potatoes and beans were hot, but not piping. The coleslaw was good, homemade with mint and yougurt, the red cabbage was good too.
Overall we would not go again or recommend it to others.
Having said that, on the way out the steaks looked very much better than what we had.
Service was quick since we were in first and we had meat that was pre cooked and ready to go.
Very noisy when full!

Funny setting, good burgers, ribs etc... I like the place and always stop there when I go to the market.

Orders the chicken/rib/suasage meal. A lot of money (£14.50) for not much more than the chicken on its own. Not good value for money and the meal took ages to arive

You must try the BBQ Platter - it has half a chicken, wild boar sausage and a big pork rib along with 4 different salads and slaws. Freshly cooked in front of you on the barbie.

Rather basic surroundings - but unusual. Great value food.
