Bringing a taste of the seaside to the Square Mile, Fish Market offers relaxed classic English dishes at breakfast, lunch and dinner. A daily changing 'fish of the day' can be selected from the chalkboard, and the seafood bar offers a selection of temptingly fresh platters. A complementing wine list features carefully chosen English wines, and the al fresco area is a tranquil spot during warmer weather.
Fish Market is situated in one of the oldest surviving East India warehouses in the city. It offers diners the best from the seas and rivers of the British Isles. Ambience is relaxed with a light and bright space, an aquamarine ceiling, white brickwork, smart marble seafood bar and also some pleasant outside seating. Dishes include hot smoked salmon and spiced Bengal prawns, landlubbers, salt-and-pepper squid and goujons of plaice with tartare sauce. Desserts include generously filled fish pie and a perfectly cooked salt cod and leek fishcake with mustard cream sauce.
