Entertaining chefs and great food at these smart Japanese teppan-yaki restaurants. Although they can be pricey, you get to watch your meal be cooked in front of you as each table (you may have to share) has its own chef. The Benihana Special - Fresh Lobster and Hibachi Steak with Mushrooms costs £36, but £20 a dish is the norm. A bottle of house wine costs £12.

Afternoon tea is served in two seatings; 3pm and 4:45pm. No reservations are taken, it is first come, first served. Set tea costs £18.95 including excellent sandwiches. Also has a revamped grill restaurant where dinner will cost around £60 per person.
