This chain of modern decor Italian restaurants does a good range of pizza, pasta and salads. The portions of pasta are big and we especially like the spicy meatballs.

Since they announced they would be opening a restaurant together, all eyes have been on the partnership between master chef Marco Pierre White and master jockey Frankie Dettori and the results have been acclaimed by critics and public alike. Set in London's trendy Fulham Road, on the grounds of Chelsea Football Club, the Bar and Grill adds glamour and glitz to the area with a restaurant that is bedecked with mirrors, chandeliers and light-reflecting spheres. The menu is less flashy, offering hearty Italian-influenced comfort food, with White's touch evident in dishes such grilled sea bass and citrus fruit, aubergine with Parmesan and Steak Tartare. With 3-course meals at such reasonable prices, Frankie's is definitely no one-trick pony.

Run by father and daughter Alvaro and Marietta Maccioni, who are present in the restaurant most of the evenings. There is a garden with 110 seats and eating meals there makes you feel that you are dining in Italy. Every customer who has a reservation has a right to choose their table on arrival according to the booking. Dishes include: Pappa al Pomodoro (Famous Tuscan bread soup, garlic, basil, parmesan and fresh tomato served hot or cold), Bistecca alla Fiorentina (Chianina organic beef T-bone steak cooked over charcoal served rare ), Pappardelle al Cinghiale (home made pasta hand cut with wild boar sauce).
